If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.

The Arizona Cardinals took that phrase to heart Sunday during their blowout NFC Championship Game loss to the Carolina Panthers. As the Panthers went up 42-15, the Cardinals’ Twitter account decided to get ahead of the trolls and post the infamous crying Michael Jordan photo themselves.

The Cardinals’ social media manager deserves a raise.

The Panthers went on to win 49-15, and there were plenty more memes where Arizona’s came from. But at least the Cardinals’ social marketing mavens don’t seem to be letting the Internet get them down.
