Ben Simmons and the LSU Tigers survived another day in the SEC Tournament on Friday, but Saturday marks their most difficult battle yet: a date with the No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies.
Simmons and Co. likely need to win the SEC Tournament and gain an automatic qualifying bid in order to make the NCAA Tournament. It’s something any basketball fan can get behind, as Simmons is projected to be the No. 1 pick in June’s NBA Draft. A chance to go dancing would be a cherry on top of the basketball sundae, as it means a few more games to watch Simmons shine in the spotlight.
LSU split two contests with the Aggies earlier this season, so it’s not entirely out of the question.
