The new age in American professional sports jerseys officially is upon us.

The Philadelphia 76ers on Monday became the first NBA team to put ads on their jerseys, announcing a partnership with secondary ticketing company StubHub.

The NBA announced in April that beginning in 2017, teams will be allowed to wear 2 1/2 inch-by-2 1/2 inch sponsorship patches on their game jerseys. The Sixers’ StubHub jersey patch will debut for the 2017-18 season.

The StubHub patch will be included on all jerseys sold at Sixers home games.
