Kasey McCravey reigns as the Patriot League’s softball player of the year for a reason.

The United States Military Academy senior demonstrated her impressive athleticism Saturday against Lehigh in the semifinals of the Patriot League championship. Lehigh looked like it would prevent McCravey from scoring on a close play at the plate when she avoided the catcher’s tag with a play that defied both logic and gravity.

McCravey’s run helped Army top Lehigh by a score of 3-1 while simultaneously vaulting her to national attention.
