DeMarcus Cousins Probably Hates Kings’ NBA Draft Judging By This Tweet

It appears DeMarcus Cousins still isn’t happy.

Cousins, who’s long been the subject of trade rumors amid a tumultuous tenure with the Sacramento Kings, took to Twitter during Thursday night’s NBA draft. And judging by this lone tweet, he isn’t happy with how things played out for his organization.

The Kings traded their No. 8 pick to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 13 and No. 28 picks, a 2020 second-round pick and the rights to Bogdan Bogdanovic. The Suns drafted a high upside forward in Marquese Chriss at No. 8. The Kings selected a center from Greece, Georgios Papagiannis, at No. 13 and a power forward who plummeted down draft boards, Skal Labissiere, at No. 28.

Sacramento also traded veteran guard Marco Belinelli to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the No. 22 pick, which the Kings then used to draft Syracuse shooting guard Malachi Richardson.

Something seemingly didn’t sit well with Cousins.

Are we making a big deal out of nothing? Could Cousins actually be subtweeting about something other than the Kings’ draft decisions?

Sure. But it seems unlikely given the way his time with the Kings has gone since they drafted him fifth overall in 2010.
