Bryan Stork, Former Patriots Center, Reportedly To Visit Jets For Workout

Bryan Stork soon might be back in the AFC East.

The former New England Patriots center is scheduledĀ to visit the New York JetsĀ on Tuesday, multiple outlets reported Tuesday morning. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport was the first to report news of Stork’s workout.

Stork’s Patriots tenure ended in bizarre fashion last month after a botched trade to the Washington Redskins and a brief flirtation with retirement. New England ultimately released the 25-year-old lineman, who had started 17 games for the team over the previous two seasons.

New York already has an established center — Nick Mangold hasn’t missed a game since 2011 — but Stork does have the ability to play elsewhere on theĀ offensive line.

The Jets, who do not play the Patriots until Thanksgiving weekend, improved to 1-1 last Thursday with a 37-31 road win over the Buffalo Bills.
