The 13-0 Alabama Crimson Tide will be looking for a 26th straight victory when they kick off the College Football Playoff on New Year’s Eve with a date in the Peach Bowl against the Washington Huskies as heavy 16.5-point favorites on the college football bowl odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Alabama has dominated this season, holding opponents to 10 or fewer points on eight occasions, and sits as a -250 favorite to repeat as champion ahead of the Dec. 31 Peach Bowl matchup at the Georgia Dome.

The Huskies will be making their first College Football Playoff appearance after posting a 12-1 SU record this season, but they have struggled with consistency, going 3-4 against the spread in their past seven games.

The other College Football Playoff semifinal on New Year’s Eve has the Ohio State Buckeyes taking on the Clemson Tigers in the Fiesta Bowl as 3-point betting favorites. Both Ohio State and Clemson have amassed impressive SU records this season, but both have struggled to consistently cover.

The 11-1 Buckeyes have won five straight, but they are just 2-6 ATS in their past eight games, escaping with narrow 3-point wins in each of their past two matchups. The 12-1 Tigers are on a three-game SU roll, but are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games, winning by seven or fewer points in four of those outings.

The New Year’s Six bowl games get underway on December 30, with the Michigan Wolverines taking on the Florida State Seminoles in the Orange Bowl as 6.5-point favorites.

The Wolverines have dropped two of three SU and ATS, and they are just 4-8 SU in their past 12 postseason games, according to the OddsShark College Football Database. The Seminoles have won six of seven SU, but they are winless in the postseason since claiming the national championship three seasons ago.

The Western Michigan Broncos aim to preserve their perfect season on Jan. 2 when they clash with the Wisconsin Badgers in the Cotton Bowl as 7.5-point underdogs. The 13-0 Broncos are just 4-3 ATS in their past seven games, while the Badgers have failed to cover in their past two matchups.

The Penn State Nittany Lions battle the USC Trojans in this season’s Rose Bowl as 7-point underdogs. Penn State is unbeaten SU and ATS in nine, but it faces a Trojans squad that is 4-1 SU in its past five Rose Bowl appearances.

And the January 2 action wraps up at the Superdome in New Orleans, where the Oklahoma Sooners take on the Auburn Tigers in the Sugar Bowl as 5-point chalk. The Sooners have recorded nine straight SU wins, while the Tigers have lost two of three SU, both on the road.
