The thrill of victory prevented the United States men’s curling team from dwelling on a glaring error.

Olympics officials gave the U.S. curlers the wrong gold medals Saturday following their 10-7 victory over Sweden in the gold-medal match, according to USA TODAY. All but one member of the team, John Lendsteiner, stepped onto the podium wearing medals that said “women’s curling” on them.

Officials corrected their mistake shortly after the medal ceremony, and Team USA chuckled at what it considers a minor inconvenience.

“It wasn’t a big deal at all, I promise,” USA curler John Shuster said at a press conference, per USA TODAY.

However, USA’s victory was a big deal, as it was the first-ever Olympics championship in a sport that’s steadily gaining traction and attention in this country.
