Whenever steroids are talked about, it gives Jose Canseco reason to talk. And Thursday's report of David Ortiz being linked to a positive performance-enhancing drug test came as no surprise to the face of the Steroid Era.

"When you tell me something I didn't already know, I'll be surprised," Canseco told ESPN of Ortiz being linked to PEDs. "And I'll tell you this, Major League Baseball is going to have a big, big problem on their hands when they find out they have a Hall of Famer who's used."

Canseco wouldn't say who the Hall of Famer believed to have used PEDs is, but the former Oakland A's slugger has yet to be wrong about calling someone out for using banned substances before.

"It's not about naming names," Canseco told ESPN. "I've never had anything against the players. It's always been against Major League Baseball. I know who's on that list, but like I said, it's not about attacking the players. It's about the machine that allowed this to happen. What I speak out of my mouth is the truth. It burns like fire. Just remember, I have never lied about this subject."

Canseco's book, Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big, detailed the wide use of steroids in the league, and gave up many steroid users for which Canseco was called a liar. However, since the book's release in 2005, the majority of his allegations have been found out to be true.
