The Knicks are expected to meet with free agent point guard Jamaal Tinsley, a source reported to the New York Daily News.

Tinsley was not permitted to attend practices or games with the Pacers last season for disciplinary reasons. He recently reached a settlement with the Pacers on a buyout and is now scheduled to meet with president Donnie Walsh and head coach Mike D'Antoni this week.

The Knicks have failed to sign point guards Jason Kidd and Andre Miller this offseason and have been trying to acquire restricted free agent Ramon Sessions. Walsh was responsible for drafting Tinsley to the Pacers in the 2001 draft, when Walsh ran the Pacers.
