Brattleboro Overcomes Three Errors to Beat Bangor East

Bangor East (Maine) suffered a tough 4-3 loss to Brattleboro (Vt.) on Tuesday. Bangor scored three times in the fifth inning to pull within a run, but they failed to complete the comeback.

Kassidi Ramirez took the mound for Brattleboro and threw an impressive 5 2/3 innings, allowing four hits and fanning four to earn the win. He eventually gave way to Cameron Wright, who struck out the final batter for the save. Ramirez also notched two hits and two RBIs.

Justin Courtney threw four innings for Bangor East, allowing four hits and just two earned runs while striking out seven.
