The lineup is in from Texas with a couple of interesting notes. Alex Gonzalez is penciled in to start at shortstop and bat ninth. It will be his first start with the Red Sox since Sept. 24, 2006, when he went 2-for-4 in a loss to the Blue Jays.

Also in the lineup is Brian Anderson, who was traded to the Red Sox at the end of July for Mark Kotsay. Anderson will get the start in right field and bat eighth.

Josh Reddick was sent down to Triple-A to make room for Anderson.

Anderson was batting .259 in 16 games for the PawSox this season, belting four homers in 54 at-bats.

Gonzalez was batting .210 this year for the Reds. He is a career .246 hitter.

4. Jason Bay, LF
5. Mike Lowell, 3B
