Bill Walker is heading north.
The Celtics announced Saturday that the forward has been assigned to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League, becoming the team’s first assignment to the NBA Development League this season.
The 6-foot-6 Kansas State alum has appeared in one game for the Celtics this season, logging two minutes of playing time. Walker has posted career averages of 2.9 points and 1.0 rebound in 7.2 minutes per game over 30 career games with the Celtics.
