Dorchester Tops Framingham in Boys 8-and-Under Tourney Dorchester prevailed over Framingham 2-1 in first-round action in the Boys 8-and-under division in Thursday’s TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 at the Garden.

Dorchester’s Quinn McCarthy led things off with a goal just under the crossbar against Framingham goaltender Austin Villa. Dorchester netminder John Driscoll made a diving save on Jackson Hornung‘s ensuing shot.

In the second round, Villa made a save on McCarthy’s second shot, and Hornung evened the score with a goal against Driscoll.

McCarthy scored in the third round and Driscoll made a diving save on Hornung’s final shot to help Dorchester advance into the next round.
