What better way to liven up the spicy Latin vibe of Miami than to have a few 64-year-olds with fewer moves than a Rubik's cube light up the stage?
Such will be the case in February as legendary rock band The Who, led by Peter Townshend and Roger Daltrey, take the stage at Super Bowl XLIV's halftime show at Miami's Dolphin Stadium.
The British rockers, who got their start in the 1960's, have been picked to take over the annual mid-game celebration, which has featured such acts as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Prince and the Rolling Stones in recent years.
In five decades of rock and roll, The Who have plastered the charts with 27 top 40 singles including "Baba O'Reilly," "My Generation," "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Pinball Wizard."
