The first-place Sabres are coming off a 2-1 win over the Devils on Wednesday night and have a chance to keep their strong play going as they host the slumping Bruins on Friday night.

Paul Hamilton of WGR 550 said the Sabres' win against the Devils
at home following their lengthy west coast road swing was "one of their
gutsiest wins."

Buffalo will have both Toni Lydman and Steve Montador back in lineup after the two defensemen were benched in the last game following sub par performances.

Matt Ellis will also be in and sitting out will be Tim Kennedy, as head coach Lindy Ruff plans to rotate in their spare forward.
