Kevin Faulk Wants Tim Tebow On the Patriots Some members of Patriots Nation aren’t too fond of the idea of Tim Tebow coming to New England. Kevin Faulk is not among them.

The running back told Boston.com he would welcome the former Gators quarterback in Foxboro.

“He’s a winner, that’s all I got to say,” Faulk told the Web site. “Who doesn’t want a winner on their team?”

Faulk was not around when Tebow visited New England last week to dine with head coach Bill Belichick and director of player personnel Nick Caserio, but he would have loved to meet the college football phenom.

“I’m a fan,” Faulk said.

The veteran running back, preparing for his 12th professional season, is beginning his offseason training regimen, which comes with its own unique challenges as he gets older.

When asked if he is faster now than he was earlier in his career, Faulk said, “Faster? Definitely not. Stronger? Yeah, I think so, but I think the most important part is being smarter as a football player on the field and off the field.”
