It will be up to the current Bruins roster to close the deal tonight in Game 6 of its Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against Buffalo.

Center Marc Savard, whose results from a neuro-psych test taken earlier on Monday are not yet known, is not on the official NHL roster sheet for Monday's game and he will not play, according to the Bruins.

Savard has been out with a Grade 2 concussion since March 7, but he has been skating since April 19 and started practicing with the team two days later. Still, the team has apparently deemed him unable to partake in game action.

Savard's status for Game 7 — if there is one — is unknown, but a source told NESN.com earlier today that the Bruins would be very hesitant to throw their star center into a Game 7, ice cold.
