Two-speed reel, check. Crankbaits, check. Trolling lures, check.

All a 2-year-old girl from Minnesota needed was a Barbie fishing rod and some unique bait to land a 20-pound muskie last week.

According My Fox Twin Cities, the girl, Ella, was fishing at Round Lake near Randall, Minn., when she hooked a sunfish and started reeling it in. But before her catch could reach the shore, it became prey for a muskie.

"Here comes this big muskie that went and ate her sunfish," Ella’s mother told My Fox Twin Cities. "So I grabbed the pole and yelled for Grandpa David."

Grandpa, with a net in tow, muscled the 30-inch fish to shore without leaving so much as a mark on the pink fishing pole.

Now that’s a fish story.
