Lefty Hideki Okajima has been placed on the DL with a calf strain.
Oki has been experiencing hamstring problems lately, according to manager Terry Francona. Taking the southpaw's spot in the bullpen is fellow lefty Felix Doubront, who made a move to the Pawtucket 'pen earlier this week.
Okajima is 4-3 with a 5.85 ERA in 2010 while Doubront, a rookie, is 1-2 with a 4.11 ERA in three starts for the big club this year.
