Who Should Be the Patriots' Starting Running Back? The Patriots' ground game appears to be in top form through two preseason games, but which back will take the reins when the regular season gets underway?

The committee has both youth and experience but what it doesn't appear to have is a No. 1 running back.

Fred Taylor led the Pats in in their 28-10 win over Atlanta on Thursday with 54 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Sammy Morris was right behind him with six rushes for 52 yards and a TD.

Chris Taylor led the way in New England's 27-24 win over the Saints in the preseason opener with 39 yards on eight carries while Laurence Maroney reached the end zone twice to go with 30 yards on eight touches. The club had 125 net rushing yards in that win to go with eight rushing first downs.

Who do you think should be the Pats' starting running back?
