How Many Football Games Will Boston College Win This Season? The Boston College Eagles already have one win in 2010.

They defeated Weber State in Mark Herzlich's return to action, and they return to action this coming Saturday with another should-win game at home against the Golden Flashes of Kent State.

Then, the real games — ACC games plus non-conference games with Notre Dame and Syracuse — will follow.

The Eagles should already have two wins before the season even begins in earnest, and the ACC isn't exactly strong this year, so BC should have a pretty clear path to double-digit wins.

Only two ranked opponents, Virginia Tech and Florida State, are on the schedule, and Virginia Tech will be coming up north to face the Eagles at home.

Florida State, like many of the squads on the BC schedule, is one in the midst of transition or rebuilding. Jimbo Fisher is taking over for Bobby Bowden after a half-century at the helm for the 'Noles, and Notre Dame has a new head coach as well in Brian Kelly. In addition, Virginia and Syracuse are surely still works in progress.

BC, though, won't just do well because of their opponents. The team won nine games last year, and now, the team's emotional leader and defensive star is back on the field. Frank Spaziani's coaching staff has some experience under its belt, as does quarterback Dave Shinskie.

So, what do you think of BC's prospects this year?
