Patriots' First Trip to New Meadowlands Ends Up Being Forgettable One Staring a daunting 0-2 start in the face, the New York Jets rallied and beat the Patriots going away Sunday afternoon in New Meadlowlands Stadium.

For the Jets, it was a good rebound from an embarrassing opening-week loss to the Ravens. And for the Patriots, the loss served as a reminder that they are a team with work that still needs to be done.

Staying consistent with the bounceback theme, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez rebounded from a pitiful 2010 debut to outplay Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Sanchez threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns and more importantly, no interceptions, while Brady threw two interceptions.

Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson showed signs of the player he once was in San Diego as he racked up a game-high 76 yards on the ground.

The two teams don't meet again until Dec. 6, a Sunday night showdown in Foxboro.
