Super Modified Racers to Tear Up Lee Speedway in 'Classic' All sorts of vehicles compete at New Hampshire's Lee Speedway, but none quite like super modifieds grace the 3/8 mile oval.

These unique racecars are returning to the speedway this Saturday, Sept. 11 for the 45th annual "Classic."

Super modifieds feature 850 horsepower engines capable of reaching speeds above 120 miles per hour. They often achieve upwards of 3.5 Gs in turns.

The format of the race is two 50-lap competitions with the overall winner determined by combined results.
