The longest-tenured member of the Detroit Tigers isn't going anywhere.

Third baseman Brandon Inge has agreed to a two-year deal to stay with the Tigers, with an club option for 2013. The Tigers announced the deal via Twitter on Thursday morning.

Inge, 33, began his big league career with the Tigers in 2001 as a catcher. He then moved to third base and all three outfield positions before settling mostly at the hot corner since 2005. He's a career .237 hitter and was an AL All-Star in 2009.

Inge's deal prompted SI's Jon Heyman to say on Twitter that free-agent third baseman Adrian Beltre will end up with either the Angels or Red Sox.
