This NFL Sunday will feature slightly fewer backup quarterbacks than usual with Vince Young, David Garrard and Matthew Stafford all starting over their respective apprentices.

Troy Smith, however, will be under center for the 49ers in place of Alex Smith, and Jon Kitna is now the starting quarterback in Dallas.

DeAngelo Williams did not travel to St. Louis and is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams. Jonathan Stewart will start in his place for Carolina.

Vernon Davis, Donald Driver, Terrell Owens, Dez Bryant and Chris Cooley will all be in the lineup on Sunday despite being listed in injury reports.

San Diego will likely have to go with Patrick Crayton and Buster Davis again, as both Legedu Naannee and Malcom Floyd are doubtful.

In Indy, Pierre Garcon and Reggie Wayne should be able to go, but Austin Collie will be out.

Steven Jackson is also good to go — as is Jahvid Best — though Dexter McCluster has been ruled out for Kansas City. Clinton Portis, Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas and Fred Taylor all remain out as well.

Brett Favre has said that he expects to start, but does not know if he will finish the game.
