Providence Bruins’ winger Jordan Smotherman is more than ready to get back on the ice.

Smotherman has been out since Nov. 7 with an ankle injury, and has had to watch his team from the sidelines. The silver lining for Smotherman is that the P-Bruins have posted a winning record by going 4-3 in his absence.

“It was tough being in the press box and watching the games, but the guys did a great job in the seven games I was out,” Smotherman said. “We won most of them, and played some solid hockey overall.”

To hear Smotherman speak about how he used his time away from the ice, his experiences in the press box and more, listen to his interview with Adam Kaufman below.
