Vince Wilfork Commends Tom Brady's 'Tough as Nails' Leadership for Patriots Tom Brady is drawing all sorts of comparisons following his stellar performance against the Lions on Thursday.

Detroit center Dominic Raiola likened Brady's accuracy to a surgeon, as he compiled a perfect QB rating on Thanksgiving Day.

Brady's teammate Vince Wilfork was also singing Brady's praises after the huge victory in Detroit. During a postgame interview, Wilfork called Brady the "toughest quarterback in the league," according to the Boston Herald.

"He’s tough as nails," Wilfork said. "And I’m not just saying that because he’s my teammate. I’m saying that because it’s true."

While some quarterbacks may complain about playing dirty, Wilfork says Brady takes it all in stride, knowing that it comes with the territory of being one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

"I think some guys might look at Tom and think he's Mr. Untouchable and he’s this, he's that, but he's a tough son-of-a-gun," Wilfork said. "He hangs in there, he takes his licks and he gets up"

That's some high praise coming from a 325-pound nose tackle who knows what it means to give and take a hit.

Brady was unstoppable in the second half on Thursday, as he threw four touchdowns in the 45-24 victory over the Lions. He finished the day with a total of 341 yards, completing 21-of-27 passes.

"He's so competitive," Wilfork added. "He's going to get up, talk trash, and throw touchdowns. That's what he does."
