The overhaul of the Red Sox bullpen may not quite be done yet.

According to the Baltimore Sun's Dan Connolly, the Red Sox are among five teams still in the running for the services of left-handed reliever Joe Beimel. He is considered to be the best lefty reliever still on the market.

Connolly claims that the Orioles and another American League team are among the five teams still in the hunt for the 33-year-old reliever, who is also expected to make a decision by the end of the week.

Beimel has spent time in six organizations over his 10-year career. He could give the Red Sox, who just recently re-signed lefty Hideki Okajima to an extension, more left-handed depth in the bullpen. Last season, Beimel limited lefties to a .221 average.
