Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein and Hall of Fame baseball journalist Peter Gammons are once again combining their passion of baseball and music in the biannual Hot Stove Cool Music Benefit.

The 2011 winter edition of this event will include a baseball roundtable discussion, in addition to the Hot Stove Cool Music concert. The roundtable portion will take place on Jan. 14, at State Street Pavilion at Fenway Park, and the concert falls on Jan. 15, at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston.

Gammons and Epstein will be joined by a group of athletes, coaches and executives from around baseball to discuss pitching in the major leagues in the roundtable portion of the benefit. Some of the rountable panelists include Curt Schilling, Bronson Arroyo, John Farrell, Curt Young and former All-Star Pitcher Bob Tewksbury. Boston-born comedian Mike O'Malley will serve as the moderator for the event, and will emcee the question and answer session.

The event continues on Saturday with the Hot Stove Cool Music concert, hosted by Epstein and Gammons at the Paradise. The concert features performances by The Lemonheads, Buffalo Tom, Kay Hanley, American Hi-Fi, and The Candles. Special performances by Bronson Arroyo and Peter Gammons are also on tap for the exciting evening. O'Malley will emcee that concert as well, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

All the proceeds from both events will benefit the Theo and Paul Epstein Foundation To Be Named Later, a branch of The Red Sox Foundation.
