The Bruins opened a very exciting home-and-home set against Detroit on Friday, and even though it's an out-of-conference series, it's still important to see how the B's stack up against the skilled Red Wings.

Detroit has been a mainstay atop the NHL over the past several years, and employs a skilled attack that is the very opposite of the Bruins' on-ice strategy. Boston is on the rise as one of the elite teams in the league, however, and the Red Wings are prepared for a tough series.
