Last week, Ray Allen confirmed that he’d be competing in the annual All-Star 3-Point Shootout in Los Angeles later this month; now, the other shoe has dropped as well. Paul Pierce will be there, too.

The NBA released the complete six-man lineup for the contest on Tuesday afternoon and the two Celtic teammates are now confirmed to take the floor at the Staples Center on Feb. 19. Joining them will be Kevin Durant, Daniel Gibson, James Jones and Dorell Wright.

Allen is one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in the game’s history; he now stands one trey short of Reggie Miller for the NBA record of 2,560. He also won the shootout on All-Star weekend in 2001.

Pierce is the defending champion and he’ll be looking to make it a repeat win in 2011.

This will be Allen’s sixth appearance in the contest and Pierce’s third. Gibson is the only other returnee, as he appeared for the first time in 2008; the other three contestants are newcomers to the event.
