Andy Carroll has played just two games for Liverpool since joining the team in January, but the striker is scheduled to play with another team this week.

According to LFC.tv, Carroll will be playing for England in a friendly exhibition match against Ghana on Tuesday.

England manager Fabio Capello confirmed the addition on Monday.

"We will play [Gary] Cahill and [Phil] Jagielka and Andy Carroll," Capello announced. "Gareth Barry will be captain."

Carroll still isn't at 100 percent in recovery from his thigh injury, but this friendly will hopefully help him return to full strength, rather then further aggravate the injury.

In 21 Premier League appearances with Liverpool and Newcastle United this year, Carroll has 11 goals, three assists and four yellow cards.
