Celtics Get Their First Glimpse of Mo Williams, New-Look Clippers

A week and a half ago, the Celtics began their five-game winning streak with a road win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic shined in their C's debuts, and the visitors won a tough one, 99-92.

That was then, and this is now. The Clips have added a new wrinkle since the last time they met the C's — that would be Mo Williams, their new starting point guard.

Williams and the Celtics have a long history together, as the 28-year-old guard previously clashed with the C's in the East playoffs as a Cleveland Cavalier. But now instead of feeding LeBron James for 20-plus points a night, Williams has a new favorite target in rookie sensation Blake Griffin.

Look forward to 48 minutes of the Celtics' Rajon Rondo chasing Williams around. You've seen it many times before, but the uniforms are different this time.

Here's the lineup card for C's-Clippers:

Celtics
Rajon Rondo, PG
Ray Allen, SG
Paul Pierce, SF
Kevin Garnett, PF
Nenad Krstic, C

Clippers
Mo Williams, PG
Randy Foye, SG
Ryan Gomes, SF
Blake Griffin, PF
D'Andre Jordan, C
