Vote: Does Kemba Walker or Jim Calhoun Have a Better Chance of Returning to UConn Next Year? When the celebration in Storrs, Conn., eventually settles down to a slow simmer, Husky fans are going to come to the realization that Kemba Walker or Jim Calhoun (or both) may have spent their last season at Gampel Pavilion.

After routing Butler 53-41 in the NCAA championship in Houston on Monday night, both Calhoun and Walker now have the decision that just a handful of lucky men and women have been able to make in the sports world: leave on top or shoot for a repeat.

The 68-year-old Calhoun, who has three national titles with UConn, has suffered from health problems and faces a three-game suspension next season, called his latest title run "as sweet a ride as I've ever been on in my life."

Was this sweet ride his last?

As for Walker, the junior guard boosted his draft standing, thanks to an incredible Big East Tournament showing, and stole the national spotlight with his impressive Big Dance performances. Not many college hoops super stars like Walker decide to stick around for a fourth and final year, but with a lockout possibly looming in the NBA next season, another year in the Nutmeg State may be his best option.
