Red Sox and Yankees fans have been clashing for almost a century and the two fan bases don't appear to be patching things up anytime soon. Because of the proximity of New York and Boston, many fans from both sides of the rivalry are embedded behind enemy lines, making it impossible to go a few days without seeing opposing colors. Don't even get me started on New Yorkachusetts (or Connecticut as some folks call it).
The Jets-Patriots rivalry blossomed to the next level when Bill Belichick left the NYJ for New England and shortly thereafter started the Pats dynasty. Much like Yankees fans, Jets fans aren't welcomed in many parts around the New England region. Like their team's mouthy head coach, Rex Ryan, Jets fans often have a lot to say despite not having won a ring in five decades.
Although hard to take seriously, Hollywood's hoop fans have a knack for getting under Celtics fans' skin. Many Lakers fans actually believe that their beloved Purple and Gold have a more storied franchise than the C's. Could they be more annoying than Yankees fans?
