J.D. Drew Returns to Lineup Against Freddy Garcia, Yankees J.D. Drew returns to the lineup Sunday night as the Red Sox take aim at a sweep in Yankee Stadium against right-hander Freddy Garcia.

Drew was given the night off Saturday against lefty CC Sabathia. Mike Cameron went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in his place.

Among the starters for this one, only left fielder Carl Crawford has solid numbers against Garcia. Crawford is 6-for-18 with a home run, a triple, a double, two walks and three stolen bases vs. the veteran.

The rest of the crew is just 15-for-71 (.211) with one home run when facing Garcia.

Adrian Gonzalez, batting in his customary third spot, enters with eight home runs in his last 11 games and at least one in four straight.
