Rajon Rondo Will Play, Shaquille O’Neal Doubtful As C’s Take On Heat in Game 5

Rajon Rondo was removed from the Celtics' Game 4 matchup against the Miami Heat on Monday night, late in the overtime period. The three-time NBA All-Defense selection was having trouble guarding Mario Chalmers.

It's not easy playing postseason basketball with a dislocated elbow, as Rondo can now attest. But with the Celtics' season on the line in Game 5 on Wednesday night, the young point guard has no choice but to play, so play he will.

Rondo has never missed a playoff game in his five-year NBA career. This will be his 73rd.

In other news, Shaquille O'Neal is doubtful to play as his injured right calf continues to flare up. For the Heat, Joel Anthony is again expected to start in place of the struggling Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

Here's the lineup card for C's-Heat:

Celtics
Rajon Rondo, PG
Ray Allen, SG
Paul Pierce, SF
Kevin Garnett, PF
Jermaine O'Neal, C

Heat
Mike Bibby, PG
Dwyane Wade, SG
LeBron James, SF
Chris Bosh, PF
Joel Anthony, C
