Adrian Gonzalez won’t have to wait long to dig in against his former team.

The slugging first baseman is penciled in to his usual No. 3 spot in the order as he welcomes his old buddies from San Diego to town.

Gonzalez is fresh off yet another incredible week, during which he hit .435 with two doubles, two homers, a triple, four RBIs and seven runs scored. Add in four walks, and he posted a rather absurd 1.388 OPS in the six games against the Rays and Brewers.

Gonzalez will face former teammate Wade LeBlanc, who has never faced anyone on the current Sox roster.

Here’s the complete Red Sox lineup, which will support Andrew Miller, who’s making his Red Sox debut.

Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
Kevin Youkilis, 3B
David Ortiz, DH
Darnell McDonald, LF
Marco Scutaro, SS
Jason Varitek, C
Mike Cameron, RF
