With uncertainty surrounding the 2011-12 NBA season, Celtics guard Von Wafer is certain of one thing: he'd love to return to the Green.

The 25-year-old appeared in 58 games for the C's this past season but barely saw any action during the playoffs. Still, according to ESPN.com, the former second-round pick would love to play for one team for consecutive seasons for the first time in his career.

"Von would love to be back [with Boston]," Wafer's agent, Terrance Doyle, told ESPN.com. "He's never gotten that opportunity to go back with a team."

Wafer inked a non-guaranteed minimum contract with Boston last offseason and ended up seeing time on the second unit before a calf injury derailed his season. Boston's back-up guard Delonte West, who got in a small tussle with Wafer earlier in the season, is also a free agent, as is point guard Carlos Arroyo.

JaJuan Johnson, the Celtics' first-round draft choice, already grabbed Wafer's No. 12 jersey for next season.
