Tiger Woods Appears in Commercial for Japanese Heat Rub (Video)

When it comes to endorsements, Tiger Woods was once the king. But following his epic downfall, the PGA star failed to appear in any commericals — until now.

But instead of using Gillette razors or swinging Nike golf clubs, Woods can instead be seen in a commercial endorsing a Japanese heat rub for Kowa Company Ltd. He has reportedly become the face of the Antiphlogistic Analgetic Vantelin Kowa series.

Red Sox starter Daisuke Matsuzaka is also a pitchman for the company, which gives Kowa a duo of injured athletes — probably not in the company's best interest given the products that it's selling.

Woods hasn't played since pulling out of the Players Championship in May, and is set to miss the upcoming British Open. Maybe with his newfound heat rub, though, he'll be back on the links before long.
