Things aren’t always chummy in Philadelphia.

On Wednesday, two Eagles beat reporters — one from the Philadelphia Daily News and another from The Philadelphia Inquirer — got into a fistfight over a Twitter war. On Thursday, Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel wanted to make sure everyone else had heard about it.

Samuel, usually on the receiving end of jokes and criticism this season, emerged in the locker room while a group of reporters interviewed Michael Vick. Samuel interrupted the quarterback’s interview by trying to draw the two “brawling reporters” out to settle their differences.

Jeff [McLane] and Les [Bowen] to the podium, where are you? Come on out, Jeff and Les. You’re around here somewhere. I’ll find you.”
