Red Sox fans will have chances to win seat upgrades, giveaways and even a chance to sit inside the Green Monster during the last home games of the regular season as a part of “Fan Appreciation Series” presented by Sunday River.
“I want to say ‘thank you’ to Red Sox Nation for their support this season,” said Red Sox chairman Tom Werner. “The events we have planned for the next five days are just a small way for us to say a big thank you to the fans.”
Throughout the last five home games of the regular season, the Red Sox are giving fans a chance to win special experiences and many other prizes.
Giveaways throughout the week will include prizes such as Sunday River lift tickets, Playstation 3 MLB 11 The Show video games, autographed items and Red Sox water bottles.
Some game tickets will even be pre-loaded with $10 of value to be used for already-discounted souvenirs and concessions.
Fans attending Monday’s day game against the Baltimore Orioles have a special opportunity. Since many ticket holders have been waiting since the previously scheduled game on May 17 was rained out, the Red Sox are rewarding five lucky ticket holders with “Golden Seat” prizes including seat upgrades and autographed baseballs.
Fans can enter the “Golden Seat” promotion online at redsox.com/goldenseat and will have to be in their seats at the start of the game to win.
