Brazilian Cesar Cielo Wins Gold, Bruno Fatus Wins Silver in 50-Meter Freestyle

Brazil won one more gold medal in the XVI Pan-American Games Guadalajara 2011 at the Centro Acuatico.

Brazilian Cesar Cielo was the fastest man in the pool for the 50-meter freestyle event followed by compatriot Bruno Fatus, who secured the silver medal for the South Americans. Cuban swimmer Hasner Garcia finished third for the bronze.

Cielo broke a Pan-American record, stopping the clock at 21.58 becoming the fastest swimmer in the continent.
