A fan of the Oakland Raiders is suing the Kansas City Chiefs organization after he was beaten by rowdy Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium and security neglected to assist him.

On Sept. 19, Clifford Trammell filed a lawsuit in a Jackson County, Mo., Circuit Court and claimed that he was kicked, punched in the face and thrown down two rows of seats during an alcohol-fueled brawl between Chiefs and Raiders fans on Sept. 20, 2009, Business Insurance reports.

Trammell also said that onlooking security guards watched the fight without taking action. Trammell claims the security guards threw him to the ground once he was able to escape the scuffle.

In the lawsuit, Trammell is suing the Chiefs and the unidentified fans who attacked him for battery, negligence and premises liability.

A spokesperson for the Chiefs did not offer any comment.
