The Harvard-Yale football game day got off to a tragic start Saturday when three people were struck by a vehicle outside the Yale Bowl, the Yale Daily News reports.

One of the victims, a 30-year-old woman, has died, according to reports. Another victim reportedly is in serious but stable condition.

A UHaul truck driven by a Yale student struck three pedestrians, who were all taken to the hospital, the Daily News reports. As the UHaul entered the tailgate area, it accelerated before striking the three victims and crashing into a smaller UHaul, New Haven Police Department spokesman David Hartman told the newspaper.

Students at the scene told the student newspaper that emergency responders were seen giving one of the victims CPR for 10 minutes. The crime scene, which was a tailgating area, was reportedly closed off.

Further details will not be available until the NHPD completes a full forensics investigation, which may take a few days, Hartman told the Daily News.
