After losing his job this week, legendary former Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno is preparing to defend himself, and he’s calling upon a heavy hitter.

Paterno, 84, contacted attorney J. Sedgwick Sollers, according to NBC News. Sollers represented George H.W. Bush during an investigation into the Iran-Contra affair, the report notes. A Paterno spokesperson told NBC that no lawyer has yet been retained.

Paterno is not facing any charges at the moment, but could be sued in civil court.
