It kind of seems that way, with an innocent little trade rumor blowing up into a full-fledged news story in a matter of one day.
It started as a note by Chris Broussard, who said the C's would be willing to trade Rondo for a scorer. It's since ballooned into several scenarios, some of which have Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook somehow ending up in Boston. The most ludicrous scenario comes from another report by Broussard, who said Ainge tried to trade Jeff Green and Rondo to Oklahoma City for Westbrook and … Kendrick Perkins!
Maybe it's all just a bunch of false rumors, maybe it's true — who knows? But do you think the Celtics should part ways with Rondo? Would to ship him off for CP3?
