National Signing Day Live Blog: Florida State Lands Second Ranked Cornerback Ronald Darby

3:30 p.m.: Florida State has had a strong day, and it just got a little better with the signing of cornerback Ronald Darby. Auburn and Clemson were two potential landing spots for the second ranked corner in the class.

2 p.m.: Signing day is anything but predictable, and Jordan Payton is definitely an example of that statement ringing true. Payton signed with UCLA after originally committing to USC. Payton left the Trojans before being linked to Cal. Both schools lost out on Payton as the receiver is now a UCLA Bruin

12:30 p.m.: A big stunner comes from Deontay Greenberry, as the wide receiver switched from Notre Dame to Houston. Greenberry was expected to be the Fighting Irish's top wideout. Another last switch came from four-star linebacker Torshiro Davis, who signed with Texas after it was assumed that he would land with LSU.

11:30 a.m.: Alabama continues to have a big day, receiving a letter of intent from Dalvin Tomlinson, a defensive tackle from Henry County, Ga. LSU hasn't been quiet either, snagging four-star linebacker Kwon Alexander from Oxford, Ala.

10 a.m.: Florida State received a letter of intent from San Antonio Brandeis cornerback Colin Blake. The 21st-ranked prospect in Texas picked the Seminoles over Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and TCU.

9:34 a.m.:
The nation's top junior college prospect Marion Grice has signed with Arizona State.

9:29 a.m.:
Josh Harvey-Clemons will stay in state and sign with Georgia.

9:21 a.m.:
Defensive tackle Edmund Ray signed with Texas A&M while wide receiver Bralon Addison will head to Oregon, joining Allen.

9 a.m.:
Wide receiver Chance Allen signed with Oregon, snapping his commitment to Oklahoma State while running back Justin Taylor, a former Alabama commitment, signed with Kentucky.

Meanwhile, Joel Caleb will remain in state after signing with Virginia Tech.

8:38 a.m.:
Rutgers just received a letter of intent from Reistertown (Md.) Franklin wide receiver Ian Thomas.

8:31 a.m.:
According to, Michigan landed running back Dennis Norfleet, who had been committed previously to Cincinnati.

8:30 a.m.: Defensive tackle Kirven has picked 'Bama. He was also considering Maryland, Tennessee and Virginia Tech

8 a.m.:
