Craig Bellamy Plays for Great Britain in 2-0 Loss to Brazil in Olympics Tune-UpCraig Bellamy was in action for Great Britain on Friday night as it lost 2-0 to Brazil in its Olympics warm-up fixture at Riverside Stadium.

Stuart Pearce‘s side fell behind on 12 minutes after Neymar crossed for Sandro, who expertly looped a header over Jason Steele for 1-0.

The visitors doubled their advantage before half-time when Hulk sped away from Micah Richards down the right flank and the Brazilian forward was felled inside the penalty area. His strike partner Neymar made no mistake from the resulting penalty.

Bellamy was withdrawn just after the hour mark and the Welshman will now be shifting his focus to Team GB’s first Olympic clash against Senegal on July 26.

After that they will face United Arab Emirates on July 29 in Group A before lining up against Luis Suarez‘s Uruguay on Aug. 1.
